Daily Skincare!
I have half an hour before I have to head up to work, so why not blog it away?
Just a reminder, these are my daily facial washes, I plan on doing the rest of my daily face-care products separately because I use so many.
Every morning I wash my face with Clean&Clean finishing pore and Lush's Angels on bare skin.
As ya'll can pretty much see, I used this pearly shit a ton. It's not harsh and is odorless. For the most part I use it because I love how it makes my pores feel. The other two products are more of a "less is more" type, but this one provides a clean, tingly feeling, which helps wake me up.
Next I use Angel's on Bare skin. I have totally sensitive "do not touch me or I'm gonna get all red and ichy" angry skin. So finding regular non-natural products (like my other two) are hard to come across. Angel's on bare skin is a natural exfoliator (the little seeds in it look like maggots! blech). I prefer it's clay and maggot texture over a bead exfoliator any day. The beads can actually bust up or capillaries and cause more angry skin.
See?? Maggots! (but they're good smelling lavender-y maggots...[and not really maggots])
Finally at night, I use Johnson&Johnson brand Purpose gentle facial cleanser. What attracted me to this product was the Allure 2008 award, and then after that the fact that on the bottle it states its as gentle as water. Now, while it's not as gentle as water, it's still extremely soft and soap free. It doesn't give a tingly-cleany feel like my Clean and Clear does, but it does remove the impurities of my skin that a makeup remover might have missed nightly while not giving my skin the pull-sting or dry skin. Over all I would say that out of these three facial cleansers This one would be my most favorite because of the price factor and how easy it is to find. I literally ran across this one frantic winter break when I was in a Walmart located in the middle of no where!
All and all I use these cleansers daily. The first two in the morning to wake up my pores and to provide softness to my skin, and the last one to help get all the bad stuff I gained over the day off of my face. Together the only real acne fighting product is the Clean and Clear, but even then it's not labeled to fight acne, it's labeled to get gunk out of your pores. In another blog entry, I'll go into detail of my acne serums, masks, lotions, SPFs, primers, and night-cremes I use on my skin. It's beyond the actual cleanser is where the magic happens. While washing your face is beneficial, it's not nearly as potent as it would be if you pair it up with a great astringent and lotion to help combat acne and dry skin.

Preparing for con
I can't believe I'm heading out to con this week!
February 17-19th I'll be heading out to Anime Milwaukee, a WisCon,to attend. The weekend is packed with voice actors (Such as Chris Cason, Wendy Powell, Robert Axelrod and Spike Spencer.), internet celebrities (Uncle Yo and Little Kuriboh!) and a freakin' variety of Panels.
Anime Milwaukee has been known to have something for everyone. This will be my third year attending and I'm happy to say I'm a vivid fan of the WisCon. The Staffers that put a year of labor into this con are astounding. Each one has the constant support that an attendee needs; my favorite quirk is there is always a staff member when you need one, they're constantly circulating the convention center ready to take feedback or answer questions of the con.
Super psyched thought for something even completely unrelated to the con. This year
I've discussed with a couple other attendees to hold a little experiment. We're going to calculate the cheapest way to attend con, including eating, con entry costs and how to save gas/money on staying at a con, including how to "pull an all nighter" and not getting a room. If it works or if we're going to get kicked from con. c:
Pre-Con tips on money saving soon to come!
